Preparation
Dice the Madeira loaf cake. Hull and halve the strawberries.
Method
- 1 Place the cake in a deep glass trifle bowl, drizzle with the Marsala and then top with the strawberries.
- 2 Lightly whip the cream and sugar until it forms soft peaks.
- 3 Stir a quarter of the whipped cream into the Crème Patissière and spoon over the strawberries.
- 4 Top with the remaining whipped cream and scatter with the flaked almonds.

Made this for party last weekend it was fab, need to either double up ingredients or make two. It went down a storm.
