Fresh Cherries Jubilee
Preparation
Zest the oranges.
Method
- 1 In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornflour, 30ml water and orange juice, then heat gently until the mixture has thickened and is smooth.
- 2 Add the cherries and orange zest, bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- 3 Divide the vanilla ice cream among bowls and serve with the cherry sauce spooned on top.
